COVID19

The Lord Fairfax EMS Council will continue to update its agencies and providers within the region as they're received on the new Coronavirus. Every Friday, the VA Department of Health provides an update to their page devoted to the Novel Coronavirus. Click here to go this page

Office Hours: Our administrative office is currently closed with staff teleworking. Anyone needing assistance can e-mail the staff thru our contact page

Pearson Vue Test Takers: As of Friday, March 27, our testing center is only open for National Registry EMT testing (NREMT). We will admit no more than 2 testers at a time, in order to increase the amount of space between testers. No additional guests that come with the tester will be allowed into the office and must remain in their vehicle. Testers will only be admitted Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 11am-2pm and only one test administrator will be onsite to proctor the test.

Consolidated Test Sites: All consolidated test sites (CTS) for psycomotor skills have been suspended thru at least April 30, 2020 due to Coronavirus. Please consult the VA Office of EMS Coronavirus update page for more information.

Need a CPR card? Our AHA Training Center has decided to suspend skills checks with anyone needing a CPR card at this time. All our classroom based training has also been suspended until further notice so you will not see any classes on our calendar. If you need a CPR card, we encourage you to go ahead and complete the first half of the training online thru the AHA's website by clicking here. Upon completion, you'll print a completion certificate. Once our office reopens you will then be able to call our office & schedule a one-on-one session with an instructor. All instructors are receiving updates from the American Heart Association thru the Instructor Network & also from our AHA Training Center Coordinator in regards to extension of CPR and instructor cards. Anyone with a question about our CPR program should e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
