The Lord Fairfax EMS Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Denny Linaburg as its new Executive Director, effective March 3, 2025.

Chief Linaburg brings a wealth of experience to the role, having dedicated over three decades to fire and EMS service within the region. He began his career in 1990 as an EMT/Firefighter with Frederick County Fire & Rescue and was a member of the region’s first Paramedic class. He later served as Fire & Rescue Chief for Frederick County from 2011 until his retirement in 2021.

The Lord Fairfax EMS Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, provides coordination, training, and support for the regional EMS system across Planning District 7. The Council serves as a vital liaison between local stakeholders and the Virginia Office of EMS, ensuring the continued advancement of emergency medical services in the region.
