The Lord Fairfax EMS Council will continue to pass along updates to our EMS agencies, providers, and stakeholders on the novel Coronavirus as we receive them. The Council is currently working with jurisdictions and agencies to ensure that all personnel have appropriate EMS supplies as well as N95 masks and necessary Fit testing. EMS agencies, get a head start on creating a program for your providers to address mental health concerns and avoid burnout by your providers! The Council now offers a valuable resource that you can use to assist in the creation of a program to address important topics before they become a bigger issue. The Council has released its latest version of the Regional Pre-Hospital Patient Care Protocols, effective August 1, 2019. A modification document is also being provided with the listed changes.
