Lord Fairfax EMS Council Mission Statement
The mission of the Lord Fairfax EMS Council is to promote a regional community-based emergency medical services (EMS) network that reduces premature death and disability from acute illness and injury through the coordination of local EMS resources. Our mission will be accomplished through teamwork, dedication, customer friendly staff, quality training, and by efficient and cost-effective operations.

Regional EMS Award Nominations Now Being Accepted!

2018awardslfemsThe Lord Fairfax EMS Council's annual awards presentation dinner will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 beginning at 6:30pm. We're looking for the best of the best & we need your help! Your mission is to find and nominate someone for a 2018 Regional EMS Award! Regional EMS Award nominations will be accepted in 11 categories, plus the Scholarship for Outstanding Contributions to EMS by a High School Senior in which the senior chosen will win a $1,000 scholarship! All winners will be advanced for consideration for the Governer's EMS Awards and Statewide Scholarship to be presented in November. We've made the process easier than ever this year! Nominations can now be submitted online! Nominations must be received by 4:00pm, May 25th at the Council office! More

Training Center Coordinator Wanted

The Council is currently seeking a Training Center Coordinator to oversee CPR, First Aid, and other safety programs in the Winchester area. Part time flexible schedule with bonus potential. Must have prior teaching experience or current American Heart Association BLS Instructor. Experience in marketing a plus. Interested candidates can apply at by clicking here. Release of MAI Training for Paramedics

maiThe Lord Fairfax EMS Council has released training for its new Medication Assisted Intubation (MAI). This training is intended for all Paramedic level providers within the Council's region who plan to utilize MAI. Two training dates in March have been announced with pre-registration required. This training is mandatory & also includes a refresher on surgical cricothyrotomy. Click here to register


Annual Report Released

Council Announces New Regional Field Coordinator

aorndoffThe Lord Fairfax EMS Council is pleased to announce that Amy Orndoff has been selected as the Council's new Regional EMS Field Coordinator. Amy is an EMT-Intermediate EMS provider within the Commonwealth of VA and also an LPN in VA and WV. Regional Field Coordinator Announced Dec 2017
